According to a recent interview that Hunter gave to the National Enquirer the actress has broken up with her beau of 2 years, Corey Cofield. There were a few reasons, but the most important one may have been that he just could not be trusted by her.

I was so very sad to hear the news that Joanne Hunter-Hutson the mother of Hunter Tylo has passed away after a long brave battle with ovarian cancer. She was 71 years old, and died on August 3, 2009 leaving behind Hunter, her 3 siblings and several grandchildren.

Hunter Asking for Prayers

Recently it has been posted online by Hunter that her mother shown here with her, JoAnne, is suffering from ovarian cancer and unfortunately is in the last stages of the horrible disease. Hunter is very close to her mom and I know that this has to be another very trying time for a lady who has suffered so many unbearable ones before. Hunter, her mom, along with her entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hunter to Wed Abuser?
Poor Hunter is back in the land of tabloid fairies this week, and now they say she is preparing to exchange wedding vows with the same man she filed a restraining order against last year.
The National Enquirer has run a story about Hunter marrying her beau, Corey Cofield, 39. They say the following in the story (try not to wince at the absurdity of it all while reading):
Corey (allegedly)…
- Terrorized Hunter’s daughers when he disciplined them when she was at work
- Forced Hunter to have sex, demanding she tell him she loved him (and “mean it”)
- Snuck into the home in order to trap Hunter in the bedroom after he was kicked out on April 16, 2008
- Violently grabbed Hunter’s wrist as she tried to get past him, then grabbed her neck when she tried to get free, saying “I’m not going away that easy.”
- Was caught in a lie by Hunter about another woman, earlier in the month (April 2008).
- Has had a restraining order put out on him (in Jan.2008) by his ex-girlfriend (and his baby’s mama) named Georgia Ginsberg, during the time he was living with Hunter.
But now, Hunter and Corey are supposedly planning a wedding-allegedly to her friends’ total surprise because a close source to Hunter told the Enquirer they were just shocked silly that she went back to Corey in the first place.

I know that the restraining order being filed by Hunter is true, but what I wonder is why would she want to be with this man if he supposedly did all these things?
Then to read he has possibly done this before to another woman, the mother of his child-well… it really scares me for Hunter-if this man is capable of this because he has since denied all of these things. Then again-what sane man would admit to any of it?
Anyway- to Hunter if she happens to read this blog, if this type of (alleged) violence pops up again-PUT THOSE KICKBOXING MOVES INTO ACTION, you didn’t get arms like that for nothing and drop any ideas about a wedding (as well as dropping him) if this is true.

In a new posting at celebrity website TMZ.com it’s being reported that Hunter was in an abusive relationship with her current boyfriend, musician, Corey Cofield.
TMZ says that Hunter “filed legal papers last year ” alleging her boyfriend abused her, and her 2 pre-teen daughters, Izabella and Katya-but that she “has now forgiven” him?
The legal papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and in the documents, Hunter ”claimed that her daughter told the family doctor that Cofield “was yelling at her and her sister and hitting them with a belt.”
Corey denied the allegations, but the judge granted a restraining order in May of 2008. However, in October of last year- Hunter had the restraining order lifted, after claiming Corey had taken parenting classes and attended family and couple’s therapy. “
The same daughter also said that Corey forced them to do “excessive push ups”. Hunter, TMZ reports that Hunter made claims in the documents for a restraining order, that Cofield “once trapped her in a bedroom and grabbed her by her throat, hard.”
Well I at first was shocked by these allegations, but now I have to seriously question them. Why would all this JUST COME OUT ? Hunter is an internationally known soap actress, and this never came out in 2008 at all??? I am doubting the story and for a few reasons:
- Why would Hunter allow some abusive man who is not even her husband (not that it would be ok for her spouse either)-to mistreat her daughters or herself? She’s always been against abuse of all types and for the rights of women, working mothers and children.
- Why would the daughter tell a family doctor of mistreatment, and not their father, Michael Tylo who shares joint custody and who the children have regular visits with?
- If this was really happening with Mr. Cofield, then wouldn’t CPS (Child Protection Services) be called in? And if CPS was to be called in and do an investigation and found the children were really mistreated-wouldn’t the kids have been removed from the home? If Hunter took this ‘abuser’ back into the home after any mistreatment to her and the children- wouldn’t CPS take the children from her custody too? To my knowledge Hunter still has residential custody of the daughters.
- Michael Tylo (the children’s father and the ex-husband of Hunter) If this was true, wouldn’t he then be the custodian of the girls? See, all of this doesn’t really add up, and the thing about the “parenting classes”, and “family therapy”- Unless Hunter and Corey secretly married, that doesn’t even make sense.What boyfriend goes to family therapy and takes parenting classes ? (Anger management maybe I could understand).
He is just the boyfriend, but if he has been this abusive and this is real (which I don’t think is) I truly don’t believe Hunter would put her kids in danger that way. She has already lost 1 child so I highly doubt she would want to lose two others behind some foolishness with a boyfriend.
Hunter Tylo has always seemed like a caring, dedicated mother to her children and if this abuse story is true-it is the complete opposite of that. I hope she talks about this on her website forum-or somewhere! It’s very disturbing, too disturbing to be ignored. This could cause alot of her loyal fans to turn against her- but I need more proof to be convinced, like why are there no actual court documents to back up everything that TMZ is alleging on their website??? Where’s that smoking gun at guys??!!
